What are watts, kilowatts and horsepower?
Watt: Watt is the international unit of power.
The ability to work one joule (j) per second is called one watt (W).
Kilowatt: A large unit of power is called a kilowatt. One kilowatt equals 1000 watts.
Horsepower: Horsepower is the ability to work at 550 feet-pounds per second in the EPS system.
